We are writing to issue an urgent security warning about ongoing Business Email Compromise (BEC) fraud targeting our clients.
Recently, one of our customers suffered financial loss due to a sophisticated scam. Fraudsters forged our company name SHENZHEN LINSN LED CO.,LTD. and created fake payment documents (Proforma Invoice). They altered the bank account details, providing a fraudulent Emirates NBD IBAN account to our customer, misleading the customer into transferring funds to the scammer’s overseas bank account.

This account belongs to an unknown third-party scammer and has NO connection with our company whatsoever.
How this scam works?
Scammers create fake emails or fake PI documents using our company name. They modify banking information on invoices, replacing our official bank details with their own fraudulent offshore account. Many cross-border banking systems only validate IBAN/SWIFT codes, and do NOT strictly match the beneficiary name. Funds can be successfully credited to the scammer’s account even if the name shown on the remittance form is our company name.
Mandatory safety rules for ALL payments to us
1. Double-verify bank information before every payment.
No matter which invoice or email you receive, please confirm the bank account details with us via our verified phone number, WhatsApp or video call (our known, existing contact channels). Do NOT rely only on bank information stated in emails or PI files.
2. We will NOT suddenly switch our payment account to an offshore UAE account/other account.
If you receive notification about changes to our bank account, this is HIGH RISK. Always call us to verify.
3. Check the sender’s email address carefully.
Scammers use look-alike fake email domains that appear similar to our official email. Please double-check the full email address, not just the display name.
4. Once you suspect fraud, stop the transfer immediately and contact your bank to apply for payment recall.
