(1) Distance: In order to better design the specifications and area of the LED display, while taking into account both budget and practical considerations, the viewing effect of the display is usually determined by the dot pitch (density), the size of the display area and the viewing distance.
(2) Point spacing: is the center distance between the display lamp and the lamp, the current indoor small spacing points are：0.8mm，0.9mm，1.2mm，1.45mm，1.58mm，1.667mm，1.8mm，1.923mm，1.98mm，2mm.2.5mm etc .
(3) Display area: The display area of the display directly determines the resolution of the entire screen. The display resolutions include SD (720P: 1280×720), HD (1080P: 1920×1080) and (4K: 3840×2160)

Chapter 3. How to Splice Small Pitch LED into 2K, 4K and 8K Displays?
3.1. What Is the Meaning of 2K, 4K and 8K of LED Display?
When it comes to 2K, 4K and 8K displays, people generally think of LCD screens in televisions and computers. With the maturity of small pitch LEDs, the current small pitch LED display can also be spliced into 2K, 4K and 8K displays, which is more flexible than LCD liquid crystal displays.
In 2K, 4K and 8K displays, the full English name of K is Kilo, and the Chinese means “thousand”. A 2K display has about 2000 pixels in the horizontal direction, a 4K display has about 4000 pixels in the horizontal direction, and a 8K display has about 8000 pixels in the horizontal direction.
2K, 4K and 8K displays only define the number of horizontal pixels on the screen, but do not define the number of vertical pixels.

The cabinet resolution of N169 series P1.25 is 480×270, and the cabinet size is 600×337.5x60mm.
Splicing 2K Displays According to 16:9:
The number of horizontal cabinets: 1920/480 = 4
The number of vertical cabinets: 1080/270 = 4
So N169 series P1.25 small pitch display splicing 2K display requires 4×4 cabinets
Splicing 4K Displays According to 16:9:
The number of horizontal cabinets: 3840/480 = 8
The number of vertical cabinets: 2160/270 = 8
Then, N169 series P1.25 small-pitch display splicing 4K display requires 8×8 cabinets
Splicing 8K Displays According to 16:9:
The number of horizontal cabinets: 7680/480 = 16
The number of vertical cabinets: 4320/270 = 16
Therefore, the N169 series P1.25 small-pitch display splicing 8K display requires 16×16 cabinets.
Other dot pitch versions of the N169 series are calculated in the same way for 2K, 4K and 8K displays, and so on.

Chapter 4. Installation precautions
Everyone knows that the cost of small-pitch led displays is relatively high. We must be careful when choosing small-pitch leds, but we need to also take it more seriously when installing. It is possible that a small detail has not been installed properly, then troubles may be here.
However, in many actual cases, we found that many projects have a common problem, that is, the installation is relatively rough, so the display effect is not very ideal.
Installing indoor small-pitch LED displays is even more delicate. The small-pitch density is dense, so the installation requirements are very high.
If you don’t pay attention to the details of the installation steps, the user’s initial expectations will become low, and even think it is the bad display effect. Because some of the installation details are not done well and the customer’s dissatisfaction is not worth the loss.

4.1 Installation Attention Point for Small Pixel LED Display
(1) A professional installation master, if you have never been a master of the steel structure of a display screen, and just position the square pass on the structure according to the way of making a billboard, it will cause major problems. Needless to say, no matter what you do, professional personnel are definitely the best, and they have a sense of responsibility.
The sense of responsibility is more important for the master who makes the steel structure or the engineer who installs the display screen. You can’t just install the display screen repeatedly for the sake of saving materials and tight tasks.
(2) Adopt different methods for different installation methods:
Now most of the projects for installing indoor small-pitch displays are still using the mode of magnet adsorption structure. This installation method saves a lot of cost compared with the box installation method. Of course, choose the most economical way to do it. The splicing surface of the square pass is used as the installation surface (front surface).
When the LED module is installed, the magnet is attracted to it. Since the magnetic sheet cannot be fully adsorbed, the module is basically loose on the square pass. Of course, as long as there is no vibration, it will not fall.
(3) In addition to the display screen production process, the flatness of the display screen module, including local protrusions or recesses, will cause a blind spot in the viewing angle of the display screen. Everyone who has done the display knows that although the positioning size of the welding square pass cannot guarantee the absolute error, it is a few millimeters away.
After each continuous square pass neutral position, the error becomes a few centimeters. The final result of the problem is that the screws are not aligned with the holes and cannot be positioned and installed. The remedy is to add another square pass in the lateral position as a supplementary substitute.
Indeed, the problem of this method is solved, but all materials and labor are consumed. The key is that if this remedy method is not careful, it will still cause uneven results and cause problems with the flatness of the display again. Such a result is definitely not acceptable to users.
(4) What is also mentioned is the welding process of the steel structure. Experienced masters know that the bottom of the square pass should be spot welded, and then the size of the square pass should be measured to confirm the spacing of the square pass, and then the top of the square pass can be positioned by spot welding.
Reconfirm the spacing of the square to ensure that the size is foolproof. There is also a more efficient way. The spacing template is made at the beginning, and when confirming the size, only one card is needed. The efficiency is very high.
(5) The last thing to say is that during the production process, the welding seam of the front elevation should not be welded as much as possible, as soon as there is a welding spot, it will cause a local bump.
During the installation process, the tools to be used are the same and cannot be less. The so-called slow work brings meticulous work, there is a certain truth to this, so remember not to make quick work.
Chapter 5. How to Choose Fine Pitch LED Display?
This section will tell you the factors you should consider when choosing fine pitch LED display.
(1) Raw materials
The quality of components determines the quality of fine pixel pitch LED screen directly, and plays a vital role in the performance. When purchasing the screen, you can pay attention to the chips, LED lamp lights, power supply, board, design of cabinet, etc. They are all important basic elements for good performance of the LED screen. It is worth noting that the quality has the correct relations with the price generally, so select the screen base on your specific requirements and the specification of the LED product.
When choosing fine pitch LED screen, the grayscale should be considered carefully. Because this kind of screens is widely used indoor, so the brightness will be comparatively lower than outdoor LED screen. However, low brightness sometimes means the reduction in grayscale.
That is why “low brightness and high grayscale” is necessary for fine pixel LED screen, which means even under low brightness the grayscale will not be damaged.

(4) Visual experience
The excellent visual experience depends on several factors including color gamut, grayscale, contrast, adjustable brightness and so on to show the pictures accurately.
Besides, the refresh rate is crucial, too. The refresh rate refers to the number of times per second that the pictures are displayed on the screen. Usually, the requirement of the naked eye for the frequency is more than 300HZ, that is, if the refresh rate is more than 300HZ, there will not be feeling of jitter. The higher refresh rate can improve the brightness and color fidelity of the display. It can be detected with a digital camera – the pictures on the screen taken by the camera will be clear without dots or scan lines if the refresh rate is high.
(5) Compatibility issue about signal format
Generally speaking, the narrower the pixel pitch, the higher the resolution, and the higher the clarity of the picture. While when considering the resolution of the screen, there is a compatibility issue about signal format to think about.
For example, some fine pixel pitch LED display can not support D1, H264, 720P, 1080I, 1080P and other formats of video signals. So in order to prevent the waste of resources, buyers need to read the specifications or ask for the sellers to figure out such question.
(6) Viewing distance
There may be a misconception that the smaller pixel pitch is always better than the greater one, whereas the choosing of pixel pitch should be combined with the consideration of viewing distance to avoid cost loss. So what is the right pixel pitch for my need? Here we list a methodology to adopt.
10x Rule – this is a shorthand approximate method for calculating an approximate estimate of the viewing distance (the distance you are away from the screen without seeing the pixelated images).
The calculation is: Pixel Pitch x 10 = Approximate Viewing Distance in Feet.
